Expert Stoma Care at Home

You may be wondering what enterostomal therapy is, exactly—and how you can benefit from the help of a CWOCN (Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse). As a CWOCN, I’m specially trained to give you practical advice on managing your stoma. I can offer pouching recommendations, advice on products you can use to keep clean and comfortable, and help treat and manage complications.

I have experience working one-on-one with patients, with family members, and with at-home caregivers—whoever’s in charge of stoma care. Generally we’ll start with a consultation—either in person or virtually (e.g. Facetime)—so we can discuss your specific needs and concerns. For in-person visits—available to patients in Queens and Long Island—I can provide hands-on demonstrations of stoma care and cleaning.
